CONTRAPUNT és un duel fotogràfic amistós al voltant de la quotidiniatitat que ens envolta, i que reflexiona sobre la visió personal que cadascú projecta sobre la mateixa, alterant-la d’alguna manera. Un petit catàleg dels objectes que poblen el nostre entorn més proper, triats a l’atzar (un dau, un llevataps, un llapis, una pinta, un CD, una cadira, unes espelmes, una fulla de paper, etc...), són analitzats des de dos punts de vista ben diferents i sota dos marcs conceptuals i personals particulars, ressaltant ara frivolitat, ara bellesa, ara empatia, i fins i tot dramatisme i passió.
CONTRAPUNT invita a considerar la diversitat de racons de la nostra percepció, les mirades múltiples i a reflexionar sobre cóm el mon objectiu és viscut des de la més íntima de les subjectivitats. El resultat d’aquesta doble mirada mostra, com un fet absolutament meravellós, els acords tàcits sobre l’arquitectura del mon en el que vivim i que suporten l’entramat de la convivència i les relacions interpersonals. Sorprenentment, aquest consens deriva de la convergència aparentment impossible d’un ventall molt ampli d’interpretacions personals de la realitat.
COUNTERPOINT is a friendly photographic duel around
everyday items around us, and that reflects the personal vision that everyone has
on the same projects, altering them in any way. A small catalog of objects that
inhabit our immediate environment, chosen at random (a dice, corkscrew, pencil,
comb, CD, chair, candles, sheet of paper, etc ...) are analyzed from two points
of view under two very different conceptual frameworks and personal views,
highlighting such frivolity, beauty, empathy, and even drama and passion.
COUNTERPOINT invites to consider the diverse corners
of our perception of multiple perspectives and reflects on how the world is
seen from intimate subjectivities. The result of this dual view displays, as
something absolutely wonderful, the tacit agreements on the architecture of the
world in which we live that support the network of interpersonal relationships.
Surprisingly, this consensus derives from the seemingly impossible convergence
of a wide range of personal interpretations of reality.
