THE TIME ANALYST watches you from Barcelona

Since May 5th, THE TIME ANALYST can be enjoyed at cc DRASSANES (http://ajuntament.barcelona.cat/ccivics/drassanes). About 60 pictures ranging from large to very small formats are shown to precisely dissect the psycho-emotional features of the post-contemporary mankind.

OVTIS és un projecte fotogràfic que combina imatges i text en un intent
d’explorar, revelar i dramatitzar les relacions tensionals i les interfícies
entre els éssers humans i els objectes que poblen el seu entorn. Aquests
objectes, productes de la activitat creativa i tècnica de la nostra espècie,
tenen un gran protagonisme, no sempre percebut, en la nostra activitat
quotidiana. Presentats fora de context, els OVTIs són instruments valuosos
per a analitzar les interrelacions humàobjecte, i permeten revelar
topologies de l'emoció i la tensió d’aquestes relacions, en general ocultes.
En aquest context, l'exposició de voluntaris a objectes ordinaris en
presentacions inusuals (levitant o en òrbites regulars), condueix a un estat
de percepció especial en el que la naturalesa més íntima de l'objecte es
manifesta al perceptor. Aquesta comprensió ofereix una possibilitat única per
a la reconciliació definitiva entre nosaltres i els objectes que habiten el
nostre entorn, i una oportunitat inusual de convivència pacífica de creador i
creació. La percepció refinada induïda pels OVTIs es registra, en aquest
projecte, en un conjunt d'experiments consistents, i es documenta a través de
imatges fotogràfiques representatives d'aquestes exposicions controlades. Com
a mètode d’exploració analítica l’ús dels OVTIs presenta, després de tot, els
humans i els objectes que fabriquen, com a cohabitants reconciliables d'un
mateix món enigmàtic.

Finally, the Institut für Gestaltungspraxis und Kunstwissenschaft (LEIBNIZ UNIVERSITÄT HANNOVER) shows Blindnesses by Toni Villaverde, and also From Paradise to Paradise, directed by Rafael Cubarsi with the violing playing of Sara Cubarsi. Fernando Represa shows The Bishop, as an accompaining element of the exhibition. I choose Blindness, a short videoart piece by Toni Villaverde (3 min) is also shown. 

BLINDNESSES in Germany

Four people from different backgrounds will debate about the concept of Blindnesses and about references, self-references and tension in life and science, in a public discussion.
