More or less succesfully, all of them have reached a point of intimate connection with their SELF, within the nanometric instant of the shoot.<br />

Such a subttle experience is recorded as a proof of concept of our still un-lost abbility to seach for survival in hostil environments.<br />

del entorno, son propiedades del mundo animal desarrolladas para escapar a los
predadores. Otra, en el mismo contexto de supervivencia, es la </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">tanatosis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;"> (o </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">pseudocidio</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">), es decir, la simulación de la
muerte. En presencia del predador, el individuo adopta una postura inmóvil,
cadavérica, inerte, minimizando cualquier indicativo de vida, reduciendo la
respiración al mínimo, ya veces, incluso, emitiendo olores intensos que evocan
las de la carne en descomposición. La mimesis es vuelve así, sensorialmente
completa. Hacerse el muerto no parece fácil; hay que convencer a los
predadores, a priori y con pocas herramientas, de la futilidad de un posible
ataque. ¿Es este acto mimético un ejemplo de actuación sublime, de control
afectivo impecable, de método interpretativo por parte de la presa? Claramente
sí. Como acto de teatralidad etológica, podríamos hablar pues de una artística
de la </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">tanatosis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">. ¿Podría ser estéticamente
complaciente adoptar un talante de inmensa pasividad y abandonarse de manera
física, emocional y metabólica, permitiendo la gravedad tensar el cuerpo contra
el suelo? Hay buenos actores de </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">tanatosis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">? ¿Y malos? Si es así, los malos y
poco creíbles mueren devorados durante las actuaciones fallidas.

Animémonos ahora a explorar la </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">tanatosis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;"> en nuestra especie. Pidamos a los
modelos hacerse el muerto ante un fotógrafo, en diferentes entornos que
permitan además, una buena dosis de </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">cripsis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">. Generamos así un tratado actoral
de </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">tanatosis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;"> humana, donde diferentes estilos y
formas de entender el desfallecimiento quedan reflejados de una manera
estética, y muy probablemente con diferentes grados de credibilidad. ¿Cuál de
los modelos es el más convincente, quién es el ganador, a ojos del espectador,
que ocupa ahora, involuntariamente, el lugar del predador? Quien desafía con
más verosimilitud el reto? Quizá sin una amenaza inmediata (al menos aparente),
hacerse el muerto puede ser sencillo, lúdico y gratificante. E incluso, porque
no, liberador. Pero hay que tener cuidado; ejecutar este ejercicio demasiado a
menudo, como un juego, podría llevarnos a una </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">cronificación</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;"> perversa y recurrente de esta
escenificación, y convertirnos en muertos vivientes vocacionales. Habría que
buscar entonces un nombre para este nuevo mal, y también, claro, una vacuna o
una cura, o incluso, lo más angustioso, desarrollar una interpretación
política.</span><br />

maneres d’entendre el defalliment queden reflectits d’una manera estètica, i
molt probablement amb diferents graus de credibilitat. Quin dels models és el
més convincent, qui és el guanyador, a ulls de l’espectador, que ocupa ara,
involuntàriament, el lloc del predador? Qui desafia amb més versemblança el
repte? Potser sense una amenaça immediata (com a mínim aparent), fer-se el mort
pot ser senzill, lúdic i gratificant. I fins i tot, perquè no, alliberador.
Però cal anar amb compte; executar aquest exercici massa sovint, com un joc,
ens podria portar a una cronificació perversa i recurrent d’aquesta
escenificació, i convertir-nos en morts vivents vocacionals. Caldria buscar
llavors un nom per a aquest nou mal, i també, es clar, una vacuna o una cura, o
fins i tot, el més angoixant, fer-ne una interpretació política.</span><br />

The mimicry and the </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">crypsis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">,
adoption of colors and geometries from the environment, are properties of the
animal world developed to escape predators. Another one, in the same context of
survival, is the ‘apparent death’, that is, the simulation of death. In the
presence of the predator, the individual adopts an immobile, cadaverous, inert
state, minimizing any indicative of life, reducing breathing to a minimum, and
sometimes even emitting intense smells that evoke those of decomposing flesh.
Mimesis is thus, </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">sensorially</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">
complete. Playing dead does not seem easy; we must convince predators, a priori
and with few tools, of the futility of a potential attack. Is this mimetic act
an example of sublime performance, of impeccable affective control, of
interpretative method on the part of the prey? Clearly yes. As an act of
ethological theatricality, we could speak then of ‘</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">artistics</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">’ of
playing death. Could it be aesthetically pleasing to adopt a mood of immense
passivity and abandon oneself physically, emotionally and metabolically,
allowing gravity to tighten the body against the ground? There are good actors
of death? And bad ones? If so, the bad ones die devoured during failing
performances. <br />
Let us now to explore such pretending act in our species. We ask the models to
play dead before a photographer, in different environments that also allow a
good dose of </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">crypsis</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">. We
thus generate an acting treatise of human ‘apparent death’, where different
styles and ways of understanding fainting are reflected in an aesthetic way,
and most likely with different degrees of credibility. Which of the models is
the most convincing, who is the winner, in the eyes of the spectator, who now
occupies, involuntarily, the place of the predator? Who defies the challenge
with more plausibility? Perhaps without an immediate threat (at least
apparent), playing dead can be simple, playful and rewarding. And even, why
not, liberating. But you have to be careful; executing this exercise too often,
like a game, could lead to a perverse and recurrent </span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;">chronification</span><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light"; font-size: 12.6pt;"> of
this state, and turn us into vocational undead. It would be then necessary to
look for a name for this new disease, and also, of course, a vaccine or a cure,
or even, most anguishing, to develop a political interpretation.</span><br />

<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">per a analitzar les interrelacions humàobjecte, i permeten revelar</span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">topologies de l'emoció i la tensió d’aquestes relacions, en general ocultes.</span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">En aquest context, l'exposició de voluntaris a objectes ordinaris en</span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">presentacions inusuals (levitant o en òrbites regulars), condueix a un estat</span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">de percepció especial en el que la naturalesa més íntima de l'objecte es</span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">manifesta al perceptor. Aquesta comprensió ofereix una possibilitat única per</span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">a la reconciliació definitiva entre nosaltres i els objectes que habiten el</span><br />
<span style="background-color: black; color: white;">nostre entorn, i una oportunitat inusual de convivència pacífica de creador i</span><br />
